Flannel Sizing & Fit
Start with a similar shirt that fits the way you like, then compare its measurements with our Hales Size Guide. Choose the chart for the men’s, women’s or youth style you’re buying.
Our charts show finished-garment measurements in inches. Chest, waist and hip measurements are the full circumference around the shirt.

Compare measurements before ordering the same size you wear in another brand. Size labels don’t tell the whole story. Shoulder width, chest room, waist shape, sleeve length and shirt length can differ.

Our women’s flannel shirts have a fit developed specifically for women, with bust darts, a shaped waist and a drop-tail hem that’s 1.5 inches longer in the back.
Use the women’s section of our Size Guide when choosing your size. If you plan to wear your flannel snapped closed, check the chest, waist and hip measurements so it has room where you need it.
Already own a men’s Hales flannel? Compare the measurements rather than assuming the same labeled size will fit the same way.
Our youth flannels come in unisex sizes S–XL and use their own size chart.
Compare a similar shirt that fits your child comfortably with the youth measurements in our Size Guide. Check chest room, sleeve length and back length rather than choosing by age or assuming another brand’s size will match.
The measurements describe the finished shirt in inches. If you want growing room or space for layering, keep that in mind when comparing sizes.
Yes. Tall sizes are available in select men’s flannels. Check the individual shirt’s size dropdown for the options currently available.
Our Size Guide lists tall measurements separately. Compare the chest, back length and sleeve length with a shirt that fits you well before choosing between regular and tall sizing.
Tall sizes aren’t offered in every style, and availability varies by release.
Fabric & Care
Our standard Hales flannel shirts are made from 97% polyester and 3% spandex, giving the fabric a soft feel with a little stretch.
They also have a wrinkle-resistant treatment to help keep them looking sharp. For washing and drying, follow the care instructions on your shirt’s label.
Machine wash your Hales flannel separately in cold water, then tumble dry on low heat.
Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. If your shirt needs ironing, use a cool iron.
Always follow the care label inside your particular shirt.
Hales flannel shirts retain their size when washed and dried according to the care label: machine wash separately in cold water and tumble dry on low heat.
Choose your size based on the fit you want and our garment measurements. You don’t need to size up to allow for expected shrinkage.
Limited Editions & Restocks
Our limited-edition flannels are made in a single production run. Once a design sells out, we don’t produce another run.
Our Blue Collar collection is different and can be restocked. Check the individual product page for currently available sizes.
A style or size that’s sold out on our website may still be available through an authorized Hales retailer. Each retailer carries its own inventory, so contact them directly to check availability.
Visit our Retailer Locator to find a store. Some collections are exclusive to Hales or select partners and won’t be available at every retailer.
Orders & Shipping
We pack and ship orders Monday through Friday. Most orders ship within 72 hours, but please allow 7–10 days for processing.
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when your order is fulfilled. Processing time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time.

Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email to follow your package. If you can’t find the email, check your spam or junk folder.
Tracking may not show movement until the carrier receives and scans your package. A shipping label being created doesn’t always mean the package is already in transit.

Yes. Enter your shipping address at checkout to see the available shipping services and costs for your destination.
Depending on your destination, duties and import taxes may be included in the displayed prices or collected at checkout. Where these charges can’t be prepaid, they may be collected on delivery.

We can update eligible orders that haven’t been fulfilled yet. Once an order has been fulfilled, we can’t change its shipping address. Sending a request doesn’t guarantee we’ll receive it before fulfillment.

If your package arrives damaged, include clear photos of the packaging and any damaged items. Keep the packaging while we review the issue.
We’ll help you work through the next steps, including any carrier claim that may be needed.
Returns & Exchanges
Email halesspeedshop@gmail.com for approval before sending anything back. Approved returns and exchanges must be shipped within 30 days of your order date.
Items must be unworn and unwashed, with the original tags attached. Sale items are eligible under the same conditions.
Exchanges depend on available inventory. If the size or style you need is sold out, we can process an eligible return for a refund instead.

For returns due to fit or personal preference, you’re responsible for return shipping. For exchanges, you’re responsible for shipping the original item back and shipping the replacement to you.
If we sent the wrong item or your item arrived damaged or defective, we’ll cover the necessary shipping costs. Email halesspeedshop@gmail.com before sending anything back so we can help.
We typically inspect returns within 24 hours of receiving them. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method for the amount paid for the returned merchandise.
Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable. Once we issue your refund, your bank or payment provider may need additional time to post it to your account.
Shopping With Hales
Yes. Visit our Hales Speed Shop showroom at 751 S. Mill St., Lewisville, TX 75057.
We’re open Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Central Time. You can shop in person, but online order pickup isn’t available.
Yes. Hales Rewards is free to join. Earn points on eligible purchases and redeem them for discounts online or at our Lewisville showroom.
Use the same email address online and in person to keep your points together.
