The Women’s Sophia Flannel is inspired by one of our favorite Hales Speed Shop creations — a fully custom 1949 Chevy 3100 that rolled out of our shop looking like pure rolling artwork. Chrome steel wheels, wide white wall tires, and a stance that looked like it belonged cruising a golden-era boulevard under neon lights.

But the paint… that’s what made people stop and stare. Sophia wore a rich gold “California Suede” metallic finish that shimmered in the sunlight like a high-end show truck. Elegant. Classy. Impossible to ignore. But make no mistake — she wasn’t built to sit still and look pretty.

When it was time to get serious, the daily tires were pulled off, drag radials went on, and Sophia made plenty of passes down the drag strip proving something we’ve always believed:

The colors of this plaid were plucked directly from the truck itself — the rich gold of Sophia’s paint and the crisp white of those classic wide white wall tires — creating an ultra-clean plaid that feels polished, confident, and just a little rebellious.
