The Sophia Collection is inspired by one of our favorite builds to ever roll out of the shop — the Hales Speed Shop built 1949 Chevy 3100 known as "Sophia".

Originally built right here at Hales Speed Shop, Sophia turned heads everywhere she went cruisin' low on air ride with chrome steel wheels, wide white wall tires, and a rich California Suede gold metallic paint that glimmered in the sunlight like rolling jewelry. But make no mistake... she wasn’t built just to sit pretty. With a cammed fuel injected LS under the hood Sophia saw plenty of passes down the drag strip before eventually finding her new home cruisin' the neon strip of fabulous Las Vegas.

That legendary Hales build became the inspiration for this collection.

Pulling directly from Sophia’s gold metallic paint and crisp white wall tires, we created a clean, sharp plaid flannel that captures the same timeless attitude as the truck itself. From there, the story expands into a full lineup of pieces that bring the Sophia cruising scene to life beneath the neon lights of the Vegas strip.
